But what sort of hypocrite says abstinence is the only option, after she's given birth at the age of 18?
I feel empathy towards Bristol Palin. Thanks to her mother's fiasco, she was shoved into the national spotlight and critiqued to no end (since the cable news programs have no morals, and they have to fill all that air time with SOMETHING).
I think that now, though, Bristol should focus more on her education and raising her child, instead of telling the rest of the hormone-raging teens and young-somethings that sex can wait.
Abstinence may be the best path, or it may be the safest path, but it is apparently not the realistic path.
